Apple Stuffed Chicken

This was actually our first time trying this recipe out, and it ended up being a good one! It was sort of a salty/sweet meal, which is always a good combination (to us at least)!

Tasty Apple Stuffed Chicken

Ingredients
- 4 chicken cutlets
-
Salt and pepper
-1/2 cup white wine
-4 tablespoons of shredded cheddar cheese
-2 tablespoons of Italian bread crumbs
-2 chopped apples
-2 tablespoons of olive oil (or butter)
- toothpicks or skewers
-parsley

Rinse off chicken with water, pat dry with a paper towel.

Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a small bowel combine the chopped apple, bread crumbs, and cheese.

(This is where it can get messy!) Take about a tablespoon amount of the mix and put it on the center of the chicken cutlet. Take both ends of the cutlet and pin them together with a toothpick or skewer (we broke a skewer into 4 pieces). Put the olive oil in a skillet, (on medium heat) and let the oil heat up before adding the chicken. It is okay if some of the mix falls out of the chicken, just put it in the skillet to cook.

Let the chicken cook for 2 1/2 minutes and then add the wine. Reduce heat (about Medium-low) and let the chicken cook for 20 minutes.

Remove chicken from the skillet, and add the parsley to the sauce. Drizzle the sauce over the chicken and ENJOY!!! (We served it with tasty brown rice!)
