Super Sweet Holiday Treats

White Chocolate Peppermint Graham Crackers

So we first discovered this delicious treat at the store (sorry I don't know which one). I absolutely fell in love with these, they were sooo good! So as I was eating these delicious treats I was thinking about how easy they would be to make myself. So this is the second time I have made these, the first time they came out really good, everyone loved them (though I didn't try them). But the chocolate was really hard to work with because I had just melted some white chocolate chips that we had. This time I used 'Almond Bark, Vanilla flavored' and it worked so much better. We also used this to dip pretzels in, sooo good!

Ingredients

-Graham Crackers- both chocolate and honey.
-Almond Bark (Chocolate works/tastes just as well too)
-Crushed candy cane

- Before you start melting the almond bark (or chocolate) get everything ready. Crush your candy canes in a plastic bag- be careful because the candy cane can rip holes in the bag! Break the graham crackers in half.

-Then after you have everything prepared, you can go ahead and melt the almond bark. You want to put it in a sauce pan over low heat. *Remember do not use a wooden spoon to stir this because wood holds moisture and any kind of moisture will ruin the almond bark (or chocolate). I just put 3 squares in to start, you don't want to put too much in and not be fast enough to use it, therefore burning the almond bark.

- Once the almond bark had melted I used a small spatula to spread the almond bark onto the graham cracker.

-Right after the almond bark is spread onto the graham cracker you want to quickly sprinkle on the crushed peppermint before the almond bark dries. Then place the graham cracker on waxed paper to dry.

-ENJOY!!
